The TACT device is rooted in the musical heritage of graphic scores, offering a non-expert audience means of sound experimentation and expression without any prior learning.

Designed as an interactive composition environment, the device is intended to be utilized by multiple composers from different generations and with diverse aesthetics. Their goal is to offer visitors a sonic, musical, and evolving interpretation of the panorama.

Each composer integrates their instrumentarium into the device to create their musical proposal. As an "open score," each creation can also be performed by the audience.

The project's framework relies on creating a repertoire of interactive gestures, allowing visitors to manipulate the initial panorama and produce various graphic and musical effects. These gestures (touching, tracing, holding, spreading, etc.) and their intentions (slow, quick, heavy, light, etc.) give players the utmost freedom for improvisation. The screen is designed for grand gestures and invites multiple users to interact simultaneously, fostering collective improvisational experiences.
